Self-Compassion


  1. Think of a situation in your life that has caused you some discomfort or pain. It could be something that happened recently or something from your past.

  2. Acknowledge the emotions that arise when you think of this situation. Allow yourself to feel the emotions without judgment.

  3. Now, imagine that a dear friend or loved one is going through the same situation. What would you say to them? How would you comfort them? Take a moment to imagine yourself offering kind and compassionate words to this friend.

  4. Now, turn those kind and compassionate words towards yourself. Say them out loud or silently in your mind. Repeat them to yourself until you begin to feel a sense of warmth and comfort.

  5. Finally, take a few deep breaths and let go of any tension or negative thoughts. Remember that you are deserving of love and kindness, just as much as anyone else.You are doing the best you can and that's enough. You are worthy of love and compassion,
